General description【一般描述】 | Phosphoethanolamine (PHOS) is a precursor to phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine. 18:1 PE CF is a green fluorescent tagged phosphatidylethanolamine. |
Application【应用】 | 18:1 PE CF may be used:
|
Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Phosphatidylethanolamine controls the membrane fluidity in eukaryotic cells. Phosphoethanolamine (PHOS) has the ability to repress tumour growth both in vitro and in vivo. It possesses anticarcinogenic effects. It can also prevent the mRNA expression of cyclin D1 and VEGFR1 (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1). |
