Anti- SUNC1 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1μg/mL.

SUNC1 (Sad1 and UNC84 domain containing 1) or SUN3 gene encodes a 40.5kDa nuclear envelope protein, Sad1 and UNC84 domain containing 1, which is mapped on to chromosome 7. It is widely expressed in pancreatic islet cells as a partly granular cytoplasmic expression pattern. Expression of SUNC1 gene is used for detecting the genetic variants altering risk of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) by using a two-stage genome-wide association study (GWAS). Mutation in nuclear envelope proteins leads to Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, type 2B1 and spastin-associated hereditary spastic paraplegia.
