| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | ZYX (zyxin) controls actin filament assembly, and cell motility. It also participates in the regulation of cell division (mitosis), and cell differentiation processes. ZYX is associated with tumor cell proliferation and migration. It is also known to induce the pathogenesis of colon cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma. Mechanoresponses with respect to integrin and cadherin-based cell adhesion, shows the involvement of zyxin. |
