| General description【一般描述】 | Matrix metalloproteinase-28 (MMP-28) is expressed in normal tissues like the epidermis of the skin, brain, lungs and intestine. It possesses an activation sequence and a pro-domain. The gene encoding it is localized on human chromosome 17q11.2 and has eight exons. |
| Specificity【特异性】 | By immunoblotting against the reduced protein, the antibody identifies bands at 62 kDa and 58 kDa, as well as breakdown products at 50 kDa, 48 kDa, and 46 kDa. At higher antibody concentrations, the antibody also detects a 70 kDa band in rat and mouse tissues. |
