General description【一般描述】 | Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7-interacting protein 2/TGF-β activated kinase 1 (MAP3K7IP2, TAB2) is an activator of MAP3K7/TAK1 required for the IL-1 induced activation of nuclear factor kappaB and MAPK8/JNK. MAP3K7IP2, together with TAB1 and MAP3K7 supports the signal transduction of TNFSF11/RANKL. MAP3K7IP2/TAB2 mediates polyubiquitin chain-dependent TAK1 activation in innate immune signaling pathways. Rabbit polyclonal anti-MAP3K7IP2 antibody reacts with bovine, chicken, human, mouse, rat, and canine mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7-interacting protein 2/TGF-β activated kinase 1 factors. Variations in MAP3K7IP2 have been linked to Grave′s disease. |

Application【应用】 | Rabbit Anti-MAP3K7IP2 antibody can be used for western blot applications at a concentration of 2.0μg/ml. It can also be used for IHC at 4-8μg/ml using paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Rabbit polyclonal anti-MAP3K7IP2 antibody is used to tag mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7-interacting protein 2/TGF-β activated kinase 1 for detection and quantitation by immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the presence and roles of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7-interacting protein 2/TGF-β activated kinase 1 in the activation of the MAP3K7/TAK1 pathway and nuclear factor kappaB (NFkB) signaling. |
Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | MAP3K7IP2 is an activator of MAP3K7/TAK1, which is required for for the IL-1 induced activation of NF.:B and MAPK8/JNK. This protein forms a kinase complex with TRAF6, MAP3K7 and TAB1, thus serving as an adaptor linking MAP3K7 and TRAF6. This protein, TAB1, and MAP3K7 also participate in the signal transduction induced by TNFSF11/RANKl through the activation of the receptor activator of NF.:B (TNFRSF11A/RANK), which may regulate the development and function of osteoclasts. |
