Anti-LMAN1 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1.25μg/ml.

LMAN1 (lectin, mannose-binding, 1) gene encodes a type I integral membrane protein localized in golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum membrane. It is a mannose specific lectin that may facilitate the sorting or recycling of proteins, lipids, or both. It could be used for recognizing sugar residues in glycoproteins, glycolipids, or glycosylphosphatidyl inositol anchors. LMAN1 forms a complex with MCFD2 and assists in forming a specific cargo receptor for the ER-to-Golgi transport of selected proteins. Mutation in LMAN1 gene results in autosomal recessive bleeding disorder characterized by combined deficiency of factor V and factor VIII. Hence, it leads to collective decline of both clotting proteins.
