| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | FES is a proto-oncogene that encodes a protein tyrosine kinase, which is the cellular homologue of a feline sarcoma retrovirus protein with transforming capabilities. It modulates the innate immune response of macrophages to LPS challenge, in part, by regulating the internalization and down-regulation of the TLR4 receptor complex. Human Fes tyrosine kinase interacts with tubulin and microtubules to stimulate microtubule assembly. c-Fes is a regulator of the tubulin cytoskeleton that may facilitate the Fes-induced morphological changes in myeloid hematopoietic and neuronal cells. |
