Anti-DNALI1 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1μg/mL.

DNALI1 (dynein, axonemal, light intermediate chain 1) gene encodes a 258 amino acid containing protein that belongs to inner dynein arm light chain family. They are large microtubule-based motor protein complexes generating the force for the movement of eukaryotic cilia and flagella. The human hp28 (DNALI1) is localized on chromosome 1 region p35 and is predominantly expressed in spermatids. Dnali1 protein is also present in cilia of the trachea as well as in flagella of mature sperm and hence facilitates as axonemal dynein. It also has a role in the ciliary and flagellar motility. Homologous mutation in DNALI1 gene leads to situs inversus and primary ciliary dyskinesia (Kartagener Syndrome). Defect in DNALI1 gene also results in potential candidate for immotile cilia syndrome (ICS).
