| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | PAK4 (p21 protein (Cdc42/Rac)-activated kinase 4) belongs to the group 2 PAKs, which also include PAK5 and PAK6. Unlike other PAK proteins, PAK4 has strong association with CDC42 (cell division cycle 42) but has weak interaction with RAC (AKT1, v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene homolog 1). It is a connection between CDC42 and filopodium formation. It regulates CDC42-induced anchorage-independent growth. |
