Evonik Noblyst^® P1093 5% Pd is a palladium on carbon catalyst. It has been shown to be effective in the following reactions:

• hydrogenation of alkenes and alkynes to alkanes
• hydrogenation of nitriles to amines and aldehydes
• hydrogenation of aryl and aliphatic nitro groups
• C-C coss coupling reactions
