| General description【一般描述】 | Modulator of apoptosis 1 (MAP1) is a member of the PNMA family. This protein contains a BH3-like domain and induces caspase-dependent apoptosis in mammalian cells when overexpressed and is required for death receptor-dependent apoptosis. MAP1 is ubiquitously expressed with higher levels found in heart and brain. |
