| General description【一般描述】 | Type I interferons are proteins produced in response to inducers like viral infection and can be divided into α and β subtypes. IFN-β provokes high antiproliferation response in certain cells like embryonal carcinoma, melanoma and melanocytes. It also has high potency in treatment of multiple sclerosis and certain cancers. Anti-interferon β antibody can be used in western blot. Goat anti-interferon β antibody reacts specifically with human interferon-β and has shown no cross reactivity with recombinant human interferon-γ. |
| Specificity【特异性】 | The antibody will neutralize the biological activity of recombinant human IFN-β. It will not block the biological activity of recombinant human IFN-α or IFN-γ. |
