| Cell Line Description【细胞系描述】 | The RCE cell line, also known as K′RCE, was established after infection of primary cultured rabbit (New Zealand albino) corneal epithelial cells with a recombinant SV40 vector. The cells exhibit a cobblestone-like appearance and stratification, including desmosome formation and microvilli development. Expression of keratin AE1 was always detectable whereas AE5 was expressed only at confluency. |
