| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | CITED4 (Cbp (CREB-binding protein)/p300-interacting transactivator 4) is a transcriptional cofactor. It is found to be downregulated in some of the tumor types including colorectal cancer. It is involved in the regulation of TGFB (transforming growth factor β1), TFAP2 (transcription factor A) and HIF1A (hypoxia inducible factor 1 αsubunit). It prevents the transactivation of HIF1A by inhibiting its binding to p300. CITED4 is known to be involved in the development of neural crest and neural tube. |
